Comment: I work with children, but I never see this side of the kids' life. The life they have at home. That's what a nanny sees. This book is about a girl named Nanny, who becomes a nanny for a wealthy New York family. The book has a nice flow to it. It was easy to read and I finished it in only two days. It caused some laughs and I also felt sad sometimes. Mostly for Grayer and Nanny. Nanny was bossed around by Mrs. X and she was putting up with it only because she loved the boy so much. That's why I liked Nanny. She is so passionate about her job and about caring for Grayer. I felt sorry for Grayer, a little boy that just needed some attention. His parents didn't give him that. That's what bothered me a bit. The X's are certainly rich and NOT raising their son, but it's almost like wealthy family equals dysfunctional family. But it's a book and I should probably not take that part all too serious. Everytime Mrs. X gave out an order I was like: Oh no she didn't! In it's total this book is a lot fun to read and I couldn't put it down.
