A good week, 10 postcards in the mail. All from different countries, so that's pretty unique. The first, very touristic postcard, came from Lutherstadt Wittenberg, Germany. There was a very cute penguin sticker on the back though.

Movie Moments: "Gremlins"
I'm always amazed when people tell me they never saw "Gremlins", because how the hell is that possible. It's on TV practically every Christmas and everyone knows Gizmo. I personaly love it so much, I decided to share with you my favorite moments in the film.
Moment # 1: The Store
We meet Randall Peltzer, an inventor, who enters an obscure store. He discovers a Mogwai and wants to buy it for his son Billy. But the Mogwai isn’t for sale. Later a boy gives it to Randall in an alley.
Moment # 2: Meet Gizmo
Randall comes home with his present for Bill. We meet the Mogwai, named Gizmo.
Moment # 3: Gizmo sings
Billy is playing his keyboard and Gizmo repeats the notes. Then he starts to sing.
Moment # 4: Water
Pete spills water and it falls on Gizmo. Little balls of fur pop out of Gizmo’s back. More Mogwais. Gizmo isn’t happy about it.
Moment # 5: Gizmo plays the trumpet
Billy shows his dad the other Mogwais, telling him they are nothing like Gizmo. Gizmo is playing the trumpet and the other Mogwais are teasing him.
Moment # 6: 3D-glasses
Gizmo is reading a book with 3D-glasses on and Billy asks him if he’s having fun. Where Gizmo respons: “FUN!!”
Moment # 7: The kitchen
Billy’s mom discovers a gremlin in the kitchen and puts it in the mixer, she stabbes another and the third explodes in the microwave. When she leaves the kitchen there’s a gremlin in the Christmas tree and attacks her. Billy saves her, but one of the gremlins gets away.
Moment # 8: Snowplow
Murray Futterman and his wife are watching television, when all of a sudden the signal gets bad. Murray checks the antenna and then his snowplow starts driving towards him and the house. It’s gremlins, he always knew.
Moment # 9: Mrs. Deagle goes flying
The mean and annoying Mrs. Deagle opens the door for carolers, but it’s gremlins. She closes the door and wants to go upstairs in her chair elevator. It was tampered with, so she speeds up and flies through the window.
Moment # 10: Gremlins at Dorry’s Tavern
All the gremlins have gathered in Dorry’s tavern, where Kate is having trouble with them. When she discovers they can’t stand light, she starts flashing a camera and is able to get away.
Moment # 11: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
The gremlins are all in the theater watching Snow White and they seem to enjoy it. Kate and Billy have a plan want to set the theater onnfire.it works, but again one gets away.
Moment # 12: Gizmo drives a car
Billy is in trouble and comes to the rescue. He is driving a car and he’s loving it.
Moment # 13: Bye Billy
Gizmo goes back to the owner of the store. Before he leaves, there’s one more thing. Gizmo says: “Bye Billy”.
Favorite Moment: Moment # 3: Gizmo sings

Top 5 Thursday: Celebrities I Want as Friends
You really hardly see how they really are, but based on the things we see from them in interviews and such I made a list of celebrities I want as my friends. I know that sounds a bit desperate, and I can tell you nobody can top my two best friends Evelien and Irene, but it would be kinda nice to be friends with some celebrities. And not because they are famous, but because of their talents and personality.
5. Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer is so talented and I hope we can enjoy her in many more movies. In interviews she always seems very sympathetic and I can see she’s sincere. And I like her sense of humour.
4. Jason Segel
He seems like so much fun and he is super nice. And a Muppets fan like me. I never saw him angry or grumpy, I think Jason is always happy.
3. Seth MacFarlane
One of the funniest guys alive and filled with creativity. I like being creative as well, so maybe he can share it with me. And I always wished Seth’s voice would be the one in my head, so maybe he can narrate my life.
2. Ellen Degeneres
Ellen is such a kind, honest and funny woman, I would gladly invite her to my home and have her as my friend. She is fantastic!
1. Emma Stone
I already have a girl crush on her, but Emma Stone is such a fantastic woman. I would really want to know her and have her in my circle of friends.
They almost made the top 5: Joseph Gordon-Levitt (to risky, because I might fall in love), Amy Adams, Ellen Page, John Krasinski, Kristin Wiig, Billy Crystal

Weekly Photo Challenge 2013 - Theme # 10: Books
This weeks theme:
I love reading, I love books. And with this theme I didn't just wanted to picture my bookshelve or all the books I have. I decided to photograph my favorite book. It's in Dutch, so you probably don't see what it is, but I left a little hint on the note. Yes, it's "Pride and Prejudice".

50 Books Challenge 2013 - # 8: Hunger by Michael Grant (Gone # 2)
Title: Hunger (Gone # 2)
Author: Michael Grant
Story: It's been three months since everyone under the age of fifteen became trapped in the bubble known as the FAYZ. Three months since all the adults disappeared. GONE. Food ran out weeks ago. Everyone is starving, but no one wants to figure out a solution. And each day, more and more kids are evolving, developing supernatural abilities that set them apart from the kids without powers. Tension rises and chaos is descending upon the town. It's the normal kids against the mutants. Each kid is out for himself, and even the good ones turn murderous. But a larger problem looms. The Darkness, a sinister creature that has lived buried deep in the hills, begins calling to some of the teens in the FAYZ. Calling to them, guiding them, manipulating them. The Darkness has awakened. And it is hungry
Start: march 2nd 2013
End: march 10th 2013
Comment: The first book was really good and amazing. I just had to check out the second book. And again it blew my mind. The story is picked up three months after the events in the first installment. They are running out of food and everybody is just hungry and trying to stay alive. Because the book's chapters jump from Sam's point of view to Astrid's to Caine's to Duck's to Zili's, it easier to relate to a character and to get to know them better. Sam and Astrid are more developed in this book. It was tough watching Sam struggle to get people motivated to try to help save there own lives. Some characters drove me nuts, just pick a side already! Extra creepy this time where the worms, very scary. Again I think this book is very graphic for a young adult novel. Michael Grant's writing style just keeps your attention at all times and it doesn't even feel like you just read almost 600 pages. Like the first book, don't be affraid of the size, because you go through it in a flash. I can't wait to read the next book in the "Gone" series, because I'm liking it so far.
