Monthly 4: September 2014

A new item! At the end of every month (or beginning) I will share with you 4 pictures of things I did that month, special activities of that month or just memorable moments. So lets get started.

 

1. I saw "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" in theaters, finally. It was a long wait. Me and my brother went to the late night viewing. This movie was awesome in 3D.

2. I got a haircut. I have been postponing this for such a long time. When I saw my favorite cousin with a new haircut, it inspired me to go for it too. My hair was very long, so they cut off a lot. But I'm very happy with it!

3. I rewatched season 4 of "The Walking Dead", to be well prepared for the fifth season that's starting mid october. Can't wait.

4. Together with the kids in my class, I played around with clay. We made prehistorical pottery and really got our hands dirty. It was so much fun and the results were great.

Weekly Photo Challenge 2013 - Theme # 47: Brother

Here is this weeks theme.

I only have one sibling, my brother Frank. Although he's six years older then me, we always had a very strong bond. My brother isn't just my brother, he's my buddy, my friend. We love watching movies together or take trips to the zoo. But my favorite thing we did was travelling to Uganda, Africa last year. Such an amazing journey, unforgetable. And there is no one else I wanted to share that great trip with then my big brother! I love this picture by the way.

I really love to bake and this sunday I had the urge to bake something. I looked in my pantry to see what I had and I made these little chocolate cakes. They were very rich, but they tasted delicious.

I love flowers, those beautiful colors always put a smile on my face. This photo was made in Entebbe, Uganda. I think such a simple thing can look so amazing and stunning. I love this photo.

Last week it was purple and this week my least favorite color pink. I don't really like pink, it's too girlie and I'm not. But there is one thing pink that I'm vey crazy about: cotton candy!

I'm all about creativity. I love being creative with paper, photos, words, colors, letters, stickers, tape, paint, pencils, you name it.... I actually made this creation for a challenge. I didn't win, that sucked because I put a lot of work into it. But then again, I love being creative and that's the important part.

When I was younger, I never really liked tea very much. And I hated coffee. When I became a teacher, all they drank in the teachers lounge was tea or coffee. So I just thought myself to drink tea. And now I love it. And I always have a bunch of flavours in my house.

This is one of the easiest themes so far. I have made so many pictures of animals. While vacationing in Uganda, visiting zoos, pets. But my favorite animal of the moment is without a doubt my bunny Oscar. He's adorable, sweet and a great companion. I love this photo!
