TV Characters Everyone Loves

Each TV show has a character you dislike, you relate to, that makes you laugh the hardest. And there is always a character that you like the most. But there are also those characters that everybody just loves, and you simply can’t hate him or her. Here is a lost of those we all love and we can’t help it.

Joey Tribbiani (“Friends”)
Joey might not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but he’s not just a pretty actor that knows how to get girls. Somehow his love for sandwiches is relatable, he is reliable since he is probably the only one on “Friends” that can actually keep a secret, he is sentimental, selfless and he would do anything for his friends.

Dean Winchester (“Supernatural”)
Aside from him being an absolute perfection of a man with endless charm, there are many other reasons why we all love Dean Winchester. He is incredibly caring, has a great taste in music, he’s a badass and can I mention his love for his brother Sam. Isn’t that just every woman’s dream?

Tyrion Lannister (“Game of Thrones”)
Even though Tyrion is only 4’5, he could easily kick your ass. He even embraces the fact that he is an imp. As Tyrion states himself: he drinks and he knows things. In fact, he would drink you under the table. And even when people think he is just a drunk, he can make one hell of speech to charm a lady or to cheat death. With that, Tyrion is without a doubt the smartest person on the show and he doesn’t need dragons. Because his weapon is wit and intelligence.

Daryl Dixon (“The Walking Dead”)
Aside from Daryl being the most badass person you will ever meet, I would definitely stick with him during a zombie outbreak. He has some serious survival skills. And although Daryl is super badass, he is a very chill person. Laid back, even a bit of an introvert you might say. Daryl is also very loyal and would do anything to keep the ones he loves save. In the groups he often functions as the voice of reason. He doesn’t want unnecessary deaths and he believes in saving everyone he can. Oh, and he knows how to work a crossbow.

Dustin Henderson (“Stranger Things”)
While at first sight, Dustin might look like the geeky outsider, he is definitely the smartest one of the bunch. Dustin is nothing if not whip-smart: while other fumble around for explanations, he draws on his scientific knowledge to point our crucial details. When you thought Dustin is only the goofy sidekick, think again. He is the most important member of the gang, their emotional glue as well as the only one who knows how a compass actually works. And yes, he is a nerd, and proud of it. Dustin is sensitive, but never weak and simply an amazing kid.

Jake Peralta (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine”)
Jake Peralta has a great sense of humor, which is obvious. But he can also kick some serious ass, is romantic, kind-hearted and basically the moral compass of the Nine-Nine.

Marshall Eriksen (“How I Met Your Mother”)
He has quite a unique relationship with Lily and he is the best friend. Definitely the best of the bunch. Let’s face it: we all want a friend like Marshall. And I know he is a lawyer, whom are mostly douchebags, but Marshall is the exception on this rule. Because he actually cares about the causes he fights for. His imagination can get crazy at times and he is a die hard “Star Wars” fan, but those things make me love Marshall even more.

Kimmy Schmidt (“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”)
Kimmy is first and foremost a loveable, cute and enthusiast young woman. Half the stuff that come out of her mouth make no sense, and the other half is 15 years out of date. But her endless optimism and self-confidence makes up for all that.

Jesse Pinkman (“Breaking Bad”)
Sure he cooks meth, but it’s not hard to like Jesse despite of this. And it’s also not very hard to miss those gorgeous eyes. Jesse shows flashes of genius and makes the team with his partner Walter White complete this way. He is unpredictable, sensitive and even though he deals drugs Jesse often wants to do what’s right. Jesse feels like a real person.

Abed Nadir (“Community”)
If I wanted one of the characters on this list to be my roommate, I want it to be Abed. I know, he is different and a bit weird, but he knows it. And that alone is what makes Abed such a great person. He is who he is and is never ashamed of it. He is incredibly patient, he constantly quotes and refers to movies and TV shows, he is an optimist, he turns into a child during Christmas and he is a great friend. And I just realized I’m all of the above….

Cosmo Kramer (“Seinfeld”)
His friends refer to him as just Kramer. Kramer is generally caring, friendly and kind-hearted. He often goes out of his way to help total strangers, and tries to get his friends to also help others and to do the right thing even when they don’t want to. He is confident in his own unique way. Kramer can also be neurotic, but overall is a quirky guy with strange ideas.

Sophia Petrillo (“The Golden Girls”)
Sophia is best known for her wisecracks. Often commenting on Dorothy’s unmarried state, Blanche’s promiscuity and Rose’s cluelessness. However despite her sharp criticism of her daughter and roommates, she loves and cares for them deeply.

Sheldon Cooper (“Big Bang Theory”)
Okay, he is self-centered, annoying and rude. But still we all love Sheldon so much. Well, first, he is honest. He says what’s on his mind and lying clearly makes him uncomfortable. He doesn’t understand sarcasm, is always polite enough to knock on a door instead of barging in and he always stands by his believes no matter what anyone says.

Eric Effiong (“Sex Education”)
Eric is an openly gay black guy in a small English town. I think a lot of people can relate to Eric in some way. He always wants to try and be friends with everyone he meets, he is charming and funny and is hardly ever ashamed of who he really is. And definitely not afraid to show it. Eric is a very inspiring character.

Christina Yang (“Grey’s Anatomy”)
Christina is a brilliant mind and not afraid to let everyone know about it. She knows what her priorities are, she will beat you at your own game, she thinks ahead, gives the best advice and is a very loyal friend. Although it sometimes feels like Christina has no emotions, she does, but she never lets them get in the way of what she wants.

Leslie Knope (“Parks & Recreation”)
Leslie has a range of loveable traits. First of all, she founded Galentine’s Day, which is perfect for those women who hate Valentine’s Day and just want to celebrate friendships. Lesie is a supporter of local businesses, she is half of a great power couple, a role model, a feminist and she believes in herself. But most of all Leslie is an optimist and a fantastic friend.

Jim Halpert (“The Office”)
Jim is your ‘everyman’, the charming guy working a mediocre job. Most importantly, Jim plays the straight man to comical unknowingly politically incorrect but well-meaning and loveable boss Michael Scott. We all love Jim’s pranks (which are really good btw), he is a romantic (probably the perfect husband) and we all have a little bit of Jim Halpert in us.

Hugo “Hurley” Reyes (“Lost”)
First of all, everyone on the show loved Hurley, so I am not wrong. He looks like your standard comical relief and the most unlikely hero. Hurley is a loveable, kind-hearted man who just wants to help everyone.

Top 5 Thursday: TV Nerds

I am a nerd, an absolute geek. So I always love the nerdy characters on TV shows. Here are my five favorite nerds, who proof they are cool.

5. Abed Nadir (“Community”)
“Community” has a lot of fascinating characters, but pop culture sponge Abed is definitely my favorite. He has an uncanny awareness that his life plays out according to sitcom conventions. Abed is a huge sci’fi geek. I’m a bit like a Abed I’m afraid.

4. Dwight Shrute (“The Office”)
Dwight has a dorky haircut, an ugly shirt, a weird background, a humorlous nature and a hunger for power. He is passionate about “Battlestar Gallactica” and has a love for martial arts. Although very intelligent, he can also be really dumb (falling for Jim’s genius pranks).

3. Jess Day (“New Girl”)
In movies, Zooey Deschanel is often the romantic leas. In “New Girl” she is an awkward schoolteacher with a disastrous love life. She is pretty much just one of the guys. Jess Day is adorkable.

2. Sheldon Cooper (“The Big Bang Theory”)
“The Big Bang Theory” is filled with geeks. Everyone besides Penny is a nerd. But I think Sheldon is everyone’s favorite of the bunch. Although he doesn’t understand sarcasm, his outstanding intelligence is hilarious. And he doesn’t even know it. Although Sheldon can be an annoying know it all, he is also endearing and hard to dislike.

1. Ross Geller (“Friends”)
His friends always made fun of his job, but I think it’s one of the coolest jobs ever. Ross is a paleontologist, which means he can talk about dinosaurs all day!!!! Ross hasn’t been very lucky in love and he seems to have bad luck written all over him (story of my life). And the fact that he fantasizes about his girlfriend dressing up as Princess Leia, makes him even more loveable.

Top 5 Thursday: Funniest TV Shows of All-Time

Laughter is the best medicine. And these shows will definitely make you laugh out loud. Here are my favorite funny TV shows.

5. Monty Pyhton’s Flying Circus
Before there was “Saturday Night Live”, we had Monty Python. The best sketch ever made, with probably the best humor. British know what’s funny. This show is not for everyone though, because it’s intelligent humor.

4. Modern Family
Talking about quirky families. This family always manages to make me smile and laugh and each of the characters is just memorable.

3. The Office
Is Michael Scott a good boss? Not really. But he makes working in an office at least more eventful than it is in real life. I loved the ‘reality’ style of the show and how funny it was.

2. Family Guy
It’s always so much fun to see what kind of shenanigans Peter Griffin gets into this time. The Griffin family is everything but an average one. The silly situations they get in to every time, impossible not to laugh 

1. Seinfeld
The show about nothing eventually became everything for television. I can’t name my favorite episode, because they are all so memorable and classic. And the "Seinfeld" therminology, I still use it!

Top 5 Thursday: Pranks Jim Pulled on Dwight on "The Office"

“The Office US” is one of my favorite shows. I liked the concept, the characters and the humor, but maybe my favorite parts was the rivalry between Jim and Dwight. Jim lived for pranking Dwight, so I ranked my five favorite pranks.

5. Jim convinces Dwight he is a vampire
After Dwight finds a bat and lets it loose around the office, Jim claims he was bitten by it. He then pretends to burn his hand on garlic bread, touches his teeth as if he’s getting fangs and pretends to get a headache from Angela’s crucifiz. This convinces Dwight that Jim is now a vampre.

4. Dwight’s stapler in Jell-O
This is the first Jim/ Dwight prank. Dwight angrily retrieves a plate of Jell-o with his stapler stuck in it. Jim asks Dwight: “How dow you know it was me?” while eating a pot of Jell-o.

3. Tricking Dwight into thinking it’s Friday instead of Thursday
Dwight think’s it’s Friday, so Jim and Pam try to convince him further, causing Dwight to miss work the next day. And he also claimed he had never been late.

2. Wrapping paper desk
When Dwight arrives to a gift-wrapped gift, he thinks Jim has just gone to the trouble of wrapping up all his belongings. In fact, everything is made out of cardboard and when Dwight sits down, he falls and destroys the whole thing.

1. Dwight’s desk items in the vending machine
Jim manages to put all the contents on Dwight’s desk in the offive vending machine. Dwight now has to buy all of his own stuff back with the nickels Jim gives him.

Top 5 Thursday: Tv Shows Perfect for Binge Watching

What do I love to do when it’s a rainy day and have nothing planned? Binge watch TV shows! And I got a list for you with some of the shows that are perfect for such an occasion.

5. Community

It’s not one of my favorite shows, but this is a perfect show to binge watch. Whenever Comedy Central is airing a marathon, I’m in!

 

 

4. The Office

Who doesn’t want to enjoy Michael Scott’s shenanigans for hours in a row? I always loved how this movie was filmed, like a documentary. I have to admit that Michael Scott leaving wasn’t the best for the show, but there are still enough episodes to binge watch.

 

 

3. The Walking Dead

It is not a 20 minute per episode kind of show, but once you watch an episode, it’s really hard to stop. It’s such an exciting and thrilling show! My favorite show of the moment.

 

 

2. Friends

I lost count at how many times I’ve watched all the episodes, but it never gets old. I just love “Friends” and that love will never die. I still laugh at the same jokes.

 

 

1. Modern Family

Filmed in the same style as “The Office” and I just love every single character in this show. It’s a show that always makes me happy and I can enjoy this show every single day of every single week.

The Office, life without Michael

We have to get used to the idea, but it's a fact now. No more Michael Scott in "The Office". I think it's going to be very weird, but it doesn't necessarely mean the show is going to lose its power. There are so many great characters left. Pam, Jim, Andy, Stanley, Oscar, Dwight, Angela, you name it. I admit it's not going to be the same, but I'm still excited for season 8. Especially after seeing this cool promo picture for next season.

I think it's awesome!

Good Times Together

"The Office US" is one of my favorite TV shows of all time. I'm actually expecting to get the season 5 and 6 DVD's today. Best TV couples

Yes, I made another list. This time with my favorite TV couples. It was a little harder then I eventually thought it would be, but I managed. And it was a lot of fun to do. So many couples to choose from, but then I realized that some of them aren't actual couples yet. So I made another shorter list of characters that I want to end up together. Here they are, in random order:

Sara and Michael ("Prison Break"): They were meant to be together from the first time they met.

Izzie and Denny ("Grey's Anatomy"): They were so cute together, why did he have to die? I never liked Alex and Izzie together. I even liked her better when she was with George and that relationship was doomed to fail.

Jim and Pam ("The Office"): Great couple. It took them long enough to finally admit to their feelings, but they rule!

Lincoln and Sofia ("Prison Break"): We didn't get to see them having a relationship, untill the final episode, but they were perfect for each other.

Sylar and Elle ("Heroes"): Even evil people need love, right? They really spiced it up for each other. I liked this pair-up. She loved him so much that she died for him (actually because of him, but let's stay positive).

Nathan and Haley ("One Tree Hill"): I think this has been the most constant couple on TV. Yes, they have their problems, but they always end up together. Nathan and Haley are a match made in heaven.

Sawyer and Juliet ("Lost"): At first I didn't really like Juliet, so I never thought I would be happy to see them hook up. But when they did, I was! They were great together. She tamed him and made him want to be a better man. So sad when Juliet died (we actually saw Sawyer cry).

Susan and Mike ("Desperate Housewives"): They've been through a lot, but everyone knows that Susan and Mike are right for each other.

Chuck and Ned ("Pushing Daisies"): I just love them!

Dean and Jo ("Supernatural"): They realized what they felt for each other, they kissed and then..... Jo died. From the first episode Jo was in, I rooted for those two to hook up. And when it finally happens, they decide to kill off Jo. Poor Dean.

Brooke and Lucas ("One Tree Hill"): Lucas looks great on every woman's side, but I always liked him with Brooke. But him ending up with Peyton was also OK.

I wish they were couples:
Catherine and Nick ("CSI"): There has always been a lot of chemistry between those two. Why not make it happen?

Damon and Elena ("The Vampire Diaries"): I know, she's in love with the good brother, Stefan. But the tension between her and Damon is so much better.

Sawyer and Claire ("Lost"): With Juliet dead, Sawyer needs someone. Kate is bad for him, because she can't choose between Jack and Sawyer (easy choice for me) and with Claire being back... I always wanted them to be a couple, don't know why.

Krasinski Wallie

Last time I showed you my Supernatural wallpaper. I made a new one. This time it's Krasinski time. John Krasinski off course. He's is soooo funny in "The Office" and he's also very cute! Here it is:

Jim's best pranks

Do you know Jim Halpert? He's the character John Krasinski playes on "The Office". He's well known for his sweet and kind personality, but most of all his pranks!. Most of the time Dwight is his victem. Here are some of the best Jim Halpert pranks, in non specific order:

Wrapping Dwight's desk: For christmas Jim decides to give Dwight the best gift ever. He wraps up Dwight's own desk and basically everything on it.

Jello: Jim puts Dwight's office supplies in jello.

Secret alliance: There are rumors that Dunder Mufflin is downsizing. Dwight sets up a secret alliance with his arch enemy Jim. He ends up spying on co-workers while hiding in a cartbord box and having peroxide bleached blonde hair.

Health Care plan: Michael made Dwight look for a better health care plan for the company. He let's all the employees fill in a form with their deceases and allergies. Jim decides to make some of them up like Count Choculitis, Government- created nano- robot infection and Hydroplosion.

Vending machine: Jim puts all of Dwight's office suplies in the vending machine. Pam will buy his pencil cup and Jim will hand him over a bag of change so he can buy his stuff back, one nickle at a time.

Thursday or Friday: Dwight thinks it's friday, when it is actually thursday, and Jim decides to play along. With a little help from Pam they make Dwight still believe it's friday. Dwight, who never missed a day at work and was never late, shows up the next day.... late!

Where's my desk: Jim hides Dwight's desk in the men's bathroom. Funny: Jim trying to help him find it by asking: Where did you last see it?

The Vampire: Jim makes Dwight believe he's turning into a vampire

Fax from the Future: Jim sends Dwight faxes from "Future Dwight". Funny: Dwight batting a cup of coffee out of Stanley's hands, because it's "Poisened liquid".

Don't you just love a guy with a good sense of humour?

TV characters that I love

I have my favourite movie characters, like I once stated. But I also have my favourite TV characters. Here they are:

# 10 Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman; Desperate Housewives): She's a hands-on mom, but she has her own way of dealing with her children. That's why she's so great!

# 9 Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg; Heroes): I don't know why, but he has always been my favourite on the show. His ability can come in handy, but he struggles with it. When he found out that his wife was cheating on him.... how could she b#@%h.

# 8 Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller; Prison Break): Linc is my favourite, but Michael deserves a place in my top ten to. He's just brilliant and super smart.

# 7 Kate Austen (Evangeline Lilly; Lost): She's a kick ass chick. She has gotten a little softer now, but I love her anyway.

# 6 Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell; Prison Break): I know Scofield is the most popular one, but I loved Linc from the beginning. He's a real tough guy with a very big heart.

# 5 Jim Halpert (Jon Krasinski; The Office US): He's a funny guy, especially how he always messes with Dwight (the jello...OMG). And him and Pam are just a match made in heaven.

# 4 James 'Sawyer' Ford (Josh Holloway; Lost): He's the ultimate bad guy, but who would'nt wanna be stuck on a deserted island with him?

# 3 Nick Stokes (George Eads; CSI): My favourite CSI. He's smart, good with people, funny and extremely handsome. He's not the main reason I watch CSI, but without him it's just not the same.

# 2 Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl; Grey's Anatomy): I just love her, seriously. She makes me laugh and/ or cry every single episode and her storylines are very interesting.

# 1 Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles; Supernaturel): He's without a doubt the most handsome man ever, but Dean is far out amazing. He's cool, funny and sexy!

The ones that didn't make it to the top ten: Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger; CSI), Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies; Prison Break), Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglie; Heroes), Haley James (Bethany Joy Galeotti; One Tree Hill), George O'Malley (T.R. Knight; Grey's Anatomy) and Claire Bennett (Hayden Panettiere; Heroes).

Sexiest men on TV

Recently Simon Baker, from "The Mentalist" was named sexiest man on TV. Well sure, he's an attractive man, but I can think of ten better looking dudes on TV. For instance Josh Holloway, from "Lost", he's gorgeous. And George Eads, from "CSI". He was on the list tough. Just look at the picture and prove me wrong.... Jensen Ackles is maybe my favourite man on TV right now. He's the most handsome man I've ever seen. I said I could name ten so here are the other 7 guys I owe you: Jon Krasinski ("The Office US"), Jeffrey Dean Morgan ("Grey's Anatomy"), Wentworth Miller ("Prison Break"), Patrick Dempsey ("Grey's Anatomy"), Milo Ventmiglia ("Heroes"), Jeremy Piven ("Entourage") and Shawn Pyfrom ("Desperate Housewives"). I can go on like this.... So I really think those top tens TV Guide makes are overrated, because last year Patrick Dempsey was voted sexiest man on TV and now he isn't even in the top ten. Like he lost his sexy-ness all of a sudden. Ridiculous.
