Netflix Friday - Volume 30

Some Netflix film tips for the weekend! And there is something for everyone, since I picked a movie for all the different genres.
 
Action: Safe House (2012)
A young CIA agent (Ryan Reynolds) is tasked with looking after a fugitive (Denzel Washington) in a safe house. But when the safe house is attacked, he finds himself on the run with his charge.
 
Drama: The Founder (2016)
The story of Ray Kroc (Michael Keaton), a salesman who turned two brothers’ innovative fast food eatery, McDonald’s, into the biggest restaurant business in the world, with a combination of ambition, persistence, and ruthlessness.
 
Comedy: Big Daddy (1999)
A lazy law school grad (Adam Sandler) adopts a kid to impress his girlfriend (Joey Lauren Adams), but everything doesn’t go as planned and he becomes the unlikely foster father.
 
Animation: Teen Titans GO! To the Movies (2018)
A villain’s maniacal plan for world domination sidetracks five teenage superheroes who dream of Hollywood stardom.
 
Romance: The Holiday (2006)
Two women (Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz) troubled with guy-problems swap homes in each other’s countries, where they each meet a local guy and fall in love.
 
Horror: Annabelle (2014)
A couple begins to experience terrifying supernatural occurrences involving a vintage doll shortly after their home is invaded by satanic cultists.
 
Science Fiction: Terminator Genisys (2015)
When John Connor (Jason Clarke), leader of the human resistance, sends Sgt. Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) and safeguard the future, an unexpected turn of events creates a fractured timeline.
 
Crime: Goodfellas (1990)
The story of Henry Hill (Ray Liotta) and his life in the mob, covering his relationship with his wife Karen (Lorraine Bracco) and his mob partners Jimmy Conway (Robert De Niro) and Tommy DeVito (Joe Pesci) in the Italian-American crime syndicate.
 
Thriller: A Cure for Wellness (2016)
An ambitious young executive (Dane DeHaan) is sent to retrieve his company’s CEO from an idyllic but mysterious wellness center at a remote location in the Swiss Alps, but soon suspects that the spa’s treatments are not what they seem.
 
Documentary: Crip Camp (2020)
Down the road from Woodstock, a revolution blossomed at a ramshackle summer camp for teenagers with disabilities, transforming their lives and igniting a landmark movement.
 
Family: How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)
On the outskirts of Whoville lives a green, revenge-seeking Grinch (Jim Carrey) who plans to ruin Christmas for all of the citizens of the town.
