Netflix Friday - Volume 96

Some Netflix film tips for the weekend! And there is something for everyone, since I picked a movie for all the different genres.
 
Action: The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
Eight years after the Joker’s reign of anarchy, Batman (Christian Bale), with the help of the enigmatic Catwoman (Anne Hathaway), is forced from his exile to save Gotham City from the brutal guerrilla terrorist Bane (Tom Hardy).
 
Drama: First Man (2018)
A look at the life of the astronaut, Neil Armstrong (Ryan Gosling), and the legendary space mission that led him to become the first man to walk on the Moon on July 20, 1969.
 
Comedy: The Cable Guy (1996)
A lonely and mentally disturbed cable guy (Jim Carrey) raised on television just wants a new friend, but his target, a designer (Matthew Broderick), rejects him, with bad consequences.
 
Animation: Robin Robin (2021)
A bird raised by mice begins to question where she belongs and sets off on a daring journey of self-discovery.
 
Romance: Loving (2016)
The story of Richard (Joel Edgerton) and Mildred Loving (Ruth Negga), a couple whose arrest for interracial marriage in 1960s Virginia began a legal battle that would end with the Supreme Court’s historic 1967 decision.
 
Horror: Unfriended: Dark Web (2018)
A teen comes into possession of a new laptop and soon discovers that the previous owner is not only watching him, but also do anything to get it back.
 
Science Fiction: Sorry to Bother Your (2018)
In an alternate present-day version of Oakland, telemarketer Cassius Green (Lakeith Stanfield) discovers a magical key ro professional success, propelling him into a universe of greed.
 
Crime: Silver Bears (1977)
Financial wizard “Doc” Fletcher (Michael Caine) acquires a Swiss bank and a silver mine – alleged to be worth a billion dollars. As rivals close in from all sides, Doc must fight a complex struggle to keep hold of both the bank and the mine.
 
Thriller: The Keeper of Lost Causes (2013)
Police inspector Carl Mørck (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) is put in charge of a department of cold cases, joined only by is assistant Assad ( Fares Fares). They dig into a case about a disappeared woman.
 
Documentary: Surviving Paradise (2022)
As the Kalahari Desert faces a worsening dry season, prides, packs and herds of all kinds must rely on the power of family to survive.
 
Family: Jumanji (1995)
When two kinds (Kirsten Dunst, Bradley Pierce) find and play a magical board game, they release a man (Robin Williams) trapped in it for decades – and a host of dangers that can only be stopped by finishing the game.
