Netflix Friday - Volume 109

Some Netflix film tips for the weekend! And there is something for everyone, since I picked a movie for all the different genres.
 
Action: John Wick: Part 3 – Parabellum (2019)
John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is on the run after killing a member of the international assassins’ guild, and with a $14 million price tag on his head, he is the target of hit men and women everywhere.
 
Drama: Casino (1995)
A tale of greed, deception, money, power and murder occur between two best friends: a mafia enforcer (Joe Pesci) and a casino executive (Robert De Niro) compete against each other over a gambling empire, and over a fast-living and fast-loving socialite (Sharon Stone)
 
Comedy: Together Together (2021)

Animation: Only Yesterday (1991)
A twenty-seven-year-old office worker travels to the countryside while reminiscing about her childhood in Tokyo.
 
Romance: Cold Mountain (2003)
In the waning days of the American Civil War, a wounded soldier (Jude Law) embarks on a perilous journey back home to Cold Mountain, North Carolina to reunite with his sweetheart (Nicole Kidman).
 
Horror
: Things Heards & Seen (2021)

Science Fiction: The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013)
Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) become targets of the Capitol after their victory in the 74th Hunger Games sparks rebellion in the Districts of Panem.
 
Crime : Goodfellas (1990)
The story of Henry Hill (Ray Liotta) and his life in the mob, covering his relationship with his wife Karen Hill (Lorraine Bracco) and his partner Jimmy Conway (Robert De Niro) and Tommy DeVito (Joe Pesci) in the Italian-American crime syndicate.
 
Thriller: Small Crimes (2017)
A disgraced former cop (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), fresh off a six-year prison sentence for attempted murder, returns home looking for redemption but winds up trapped in the mess he left behind.
 
Documentary: The Biggest Little Farm (2018)
Documentarian John Chester and his wife Molly work to develop a sustainable farm on 200 acres outside of Los Angeles.
 
Family: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)
A young boy (Freddie Highmore) wins a tour through the most magnificent chocolate factory in the world, led by the world’s most unusual candy maker (Johnny Depp)
